Ex-Tractor Manager Berdyev Named PFC Sochi Coach
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Former Tractor football team manager Kurban Berdyev was named as the new head coach of Russian club Sochi on Sunday.
The 70-year-old coach has penned a 2.5-year deal with the Russian club.
Sochi sits ninth in the Russian professional league.
The club president Boris Rotenberg has confirmed the news.
Berdyev parted ways with Tractor in late November after about five months.
He was replaced by Spanish coach Paco Jémez.
