Team Melli had defeated Oman 5-4 in penalty shootout on Wednesday.

The Persians are drawn in Group B along with the UAE, Malaysia and Uzbekistan.
The 10th edition of the AFC Beach Soccer Asian Cup will be played in Pattaya, Thailand, from March 16 to 26.
