Iran Beaten by Argentina at 2023 FIH Indoor Hockey World Cup

TEHRAN (Tasnim)- Iran’s men’s team lost to Argentina in its opening match of the FIH Indoor Hockey World Cup South Africa 2023 on Sunday.

Sports

Iran was defeated against Argentina 5-4 in Pool B.

The Persians are scheduled to play the US on Monday.

The competition started in Pretoria on February 5 and will run until February 11.

Iran is in Pool B along with the Czech Republic, the US, Australia, South Africa and Argentina.

The top-four teams from each group will advance to the quarter-finals.
