TEHRAN (Tasnim) - The Iranian Foreign Minister, Hossein Amirabdollahian, took to Twitter to criticize some Western officials for their response to the suspicious poisoning of Iranian girl students.

According to Amirabdollahian, these officials' reaction is part of the enemy's ongoing hybrid war.

"The interventionist reaction of some Western officials to the suspicious poisoning of Iranian girl students is part of the enemy's ongoing hybrid war. The great Iranian nation knows very well the crocodile tears!" he wrote.

Amirabdollahian also confirmed that relevant authorities in Iran are actively investigating the incident.

The poisoning has raised concerns among Iranians about the safety and security of students, although there have been no reports of fatalities at this time.

Meanwhile, Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi instructed the Minister of Interior to investigate reports of student poisonings in some schools, citing concerns at a cabinet meeting on Wednesday.

He also stated that the enemies are aiming to create insecurity in schools, in an attempt to sow unrest in various areas throughout the country.
