Iran’s Daily Oil Output Rises in February: OPEC


TEHRAN (Tasnim) – The Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC) in its monthly report announced that Iran's production of oil increased in the second month of 2023 (February) by an average of 17,000 barrels per day (bpd).

According to the report, the price of Iran’s heavy crude per barrel has reached $81.88.

Iran’s average oil output in February 2023 reached 2.571 million bpd, registering a 1.06% growth as compared to a month earlier, i.e. January.

The Islamic Republic of Iran had produced 2,554,000 barrels of oil per day (bpd) in January 2023.

The OPEC oil output in February increased 117,000 barrels and reached 28.924 million barrels per day, recording considerable growth as compared to a month earlier.

The average price of Iran's heavy oil in January and February was $81.72, OPEC stated.
