Iran Knows Rivals at FIVB Volleyball U-19 World Championship
TEHRAN (Tasnim) - The Drawing of Lots for the FIVB Volleyball U-19 World Championship was held in Lausanne, Switzerland on Friday.
The Championship will be staged in San Juan, Argentina from August 2 to 11.
The 20 teams participating in the pool phase were divided in four round-robin groups of five:
Pool A: Argentina (host), Egypt, US, Serbia, Costa Rica
Pool B: Bulgaria, India, Japan, France, Slovenia
Pool C: Iran, Nigeria, Columbia, Puerto Rico, South Korea
Pool D: Italy, Brazil, Belgium, Mexico, Chile
The best four teams from each pool will qualify for the Round of 16, while the rest will continue in the playoffs for the distribution of the places from 17th to 20th.
