In remarks on Tuesday, the Army commander hailed the Islamic Republic’s success in thwarting hostile plots, improving and promoting foreign relations with neighbors, developing and strengthening strategic relations with two major world powers, creating a balance of power in West Asia, and fighting a tough, complicated and serious cognitive and psychological war.
“On the other side, we are observing the confusion and disorientation of the hegemonic system, especially the clearer signals of collapse and breakdown of the Zionist regime,” the general stated.
Elsewhere, he said that the Iranian Army, under the prudent guidance of Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei, has full intelligence control over developments, monitors threats, and employs modern technologies and scientific capabilities of the universities, knowledge-based companies, and defense industries to prepare whatever necessary for its missions.
Commenting on the new military equipment that came into operation on Tuesday, Major General Mousavi said the defense gear that match the operational needs of the Army units have four main features, including long range, pinpoint accuracy, smartness, and networkability.
The Army Ground Force on Tuesday took delivery of over 1,000 new items, including combat equipment, missiles, vehicles and electronic warfare systems.
