Iran, Russia Emphasize Closer Ties in ICT Field
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Officials from Iran and Russia expressed their determination to enhance relations in the field of information and communication technologies.
Iranian Deputy Minister of Information and Communications Technology Meisam Abedi has traveled to Moscow to attend the 35th edition of Russia’s International Exhibition of Information and Communications Technology, dubbed “SVIAZ 2023”.
Abedi also held a meeting with Russia’s Minister of Digital Development, Communications and Mass Media Maksut Igorevich Shadayev to discuss bilateral ties in the relevant fields.
He announced in the meeting that the Iranian knowledge-based firms are ready to cooperate with the Russian companies for the development of modern communications technologies.
The two sides also expressed their satisfaction with the growth of bilateral interaction in the related field.
Iranian deputy ICT minister invited Shadayev to take part in the next ECO Summit meeting in Tehran.
Abedi also expressed hope that the exhibition in Moscow would create an opportunity to present the latest Iranian and Russian achievements in the ICT sector.
The Iranian deputy minister of ICT and his delegation also paid a visit to the pavilion of the Iranian companies and were briefed on their latest achievements in the market development at the international level.
