Ashkan Khorshidi to Officiate Tehran Derby
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Ashkan Khorshidi was chosen to officiate the match between Esteghlal and Persepolis, known as Tehran derby.
Two teams will lock horns with each other on Wednesday in Tehran’s Azadi Stadium.
The 44-year-old referee will be assisted by Alireza Ildorom and Hossein Zahiri.
Persepolis, as Iran football league champion, will meet Esteghlal in the final match of the 2022-23 Hazfi Cup.
Esteghal is the most successful club with seven titles, followed by Persepolis who has won six times.
