Iran Loses to Chinese Taipei at 2023 AVC Challenge Cup
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Iran’s women’s volleyball team lost to Chinese Taipei 3-0 (25-18, 25-16, 25-13) in Pool B of the 2023 AVC Challenge Cup on Tuesday.
Team Melli Banovan will play Vietnam in Pool F on Wednesday.
Iran had defeated Hong Kong 3-2 in its opening match.
The 2023 Asian Women's Volleyball Challenge Cup is the fourth edition of the Asian Women's Volleyball Challenge Cup, an annual international volleyball tournament organized by the Asian Volleyball Confederation (AVC) with Indonesian Volleyball Federation (PBVSI).
The tournament began on June 18 in Gresik, East Java, Indonesia and will run till June 25.
