The Iranian girls were drawn along with Malaysia, Singapore and Guam in Pool B, while Jordan, the Philippines, Hong Kong and the Maldives are in Pool A.
The competition will take place in Amman, Jordan from July 10 to 16.
The FIBA Under-16 Women's Asian Championship is an international under-16 basketball championship in the International Basketball Federation's FIBA Asia zone.
The tournament started in 2009 and is held biennially. The top team will qualify for the FIBA U-16 Women's Asian Championship Division A.
