Now the countdown has started for the production of gas from this important and strategic phase.
The installation operation of Phase 11 platform of the South Pars Gas Field, which had arrived by the Oceanic vessel, was carried out at the unsparing and nonstop efforts of export Iranian engineers in the National Iranian Oil Company and Pars Oil and Gas and with the cooperation of Petropars and Offshore Installations companies. It began on Tuesday evening and finished successfully on Wednesday morning.
It is the heaviest platform in the South Pars Gas Field. Relocating the 3,200-ton platform of Phase 11 will lead to the start of gas production from this important and strategic phase after 20 years.
Production of 56 million cubic meters of gas per day has been cited as the main objective of the development of Phase 11 of the South Pars gas field.
