Iran Holding Talks with ECO Member States for Exporting Space Products

TEHRAN (Tasnim) – A spokesman for Iran Space Agency (ISA) said that the Agency is holding talks with the Economic cooperation Organization (ECO)’s member states for export of space-related products.

Given the valuable experiences of the country in the space industry, Hossein Daliriyan stated that Iran can be exporter of space products to these countries.

Speaking on the sidelines of the ministerial summit of ECO member states, as hosted by Iran’s Ministry of Communications and Information Technology (ICT), he said that Iran Space Agency and ECO member states have held constructive and fruitful talks in the field of bolstering space cooperation.

ECO is a good capacity for cooperation and the Agency can be exporter of space-related products given its high capacities and valuable experiences in the apace industry, Daliriyan emphasized.

Islamic Republic of Iran has the right to use peaceful technologies in the path of its scientific-research development according to international standards, and in so doing, it will not await the opinions of some countries that seek to impose their dictates, former Iran's foreign Ministry Spokesman Khatibzadeh emphasized.
