Countries enjoy high capability of producing goods and can use bartering deals to supply goods as they need, Yahya Al-e Es’hagh emphasized.

Speaking in an interview with IRNA on Sunday, he pointed to bartering as one of the common methods of doing business in the world and noted that this process is very useful because instead of converting goods into currency and also converting the same currency to the required product, the products needed by the two countries are bartered and supplied directly.

The economic activist emphasized that bartering goods plays the role of facilitator in the exchange of goods required by two countries, which is a common method in the world.

Bartering is a trade advantage throughout the world and countries can promote their trade using it, the chairman highlighted.

Elsewhere in his remarks, Al-e Es’hagh pointed to the opportunities in Africa and added that the continent has many advantages for bartering goods with Iran, and that economic activists and responsible officials should seize the opportunities.
