2023 Asian U-16 Volleyball Championship: Iran Overpowers China

TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Iran swept past China 3-0 (31-29, 25-17, 25-23) in the first edition of the Asian Men’s U-16 Volleyball Championship on Sunday.

Sports

Iran had edged past Japan 3-2 on Saturday in Pool C and will face Saudi Arabia on Monday.

The competition is being held in Tashkent, Uzbekistan from July 22 to 29.

It serves as the Asian qualification tournament for the next year’s FIVB Volleyball Men’s U-17 World Championship.

The top three teams in the competition will advance to the world championship.
