Iran Routs S. Arabia at 2023 Asian U-16 Volleyball Championship
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Iran defeated Saudi Arabia 3-0 (25-12, 25-6, 25-12) in the first edition of the Asian Men’s U-16 Volleyball Championship on Monday.
Iran had already defeated Japan 3-2 and China 3-0 in Pool C.
Iran and Japan advanced to Pool E.
The competition is being held in Tashkent, Uzbekistan from July 22 to 29.
It serves as the Asian qualification tournament for the next year’s FIVB Volleyball Men’s U-17 World Championship.
The top three teams in the competition will advance to the world championship.
