Iran had already defeated Japan 3-2 and China 3-0 in Pool C.

Iran and Japan advanced to Pool E.

The competition is being held in Tashkent, Uzbekistan from July 22 to 29.

It serves as the Asian qualification tournament for the next year’s FIVB Volleyball Men’s U-17 World Championship.

The top three teams in the competition will advance to the world championship.
