Fasihi Only Iranian Athlete to Compete at 2023 World Athletics C’ships
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Woman sprinter Farzaneh Fasihi is the only Iranian athlete to compete at the 2023 World Athletics Championships.
Iranian man sprinter Hassan Taftian failed to earn a quota to participate in the prestigious competition.
Fasihi will represent Iran in the women’s 100 meters.
The 2023 World Athletics Championships are scheduled for August 19 to 27 in Budapest, capital of Hungary.
