Iran Produces 218,000 Tons of Aluminum Ingot in 4 Months: IMIDRO

TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Iran produced more than 218,000 tons of aluminum ingot in the first four months of the current Iranian calendar (March 21 to July 22), according to the Iranian Mines and Mining Industries Development and Renovation Organization (IMIDRO).

Economy

Four major aluminum production companies of the country managed to produce 218,532 tons of aluminum ingot from March 21 to July 22, showing a two percent decline compared to the same period of last year.

The major aluminum production companies had produced 223,781 tons of aluminum ingot from March 21 to June 22, 2022.

The Iran Alumina Company (IAC) also managed to produce 82,548 tons of alumina powder in the first four months of the current Iranian calendar year, registering a two percent hike compared to the last year’s corresponding period.

The company had produced 80,896 tons of alumina powder from March 21 to July 22, 2022, the report added.
