IPL: Persepolis Beats Foolad
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Persepolis football team beat Foolad 2-0 in the 2023-24 Iran Professional League (IPL) Matchweek 4 on Wednesday.
Morteza Pouraliganji opened the scoring for the visiting team in the 66th minute and Yasin Salmani made it 2-0 in the dying moments of the match
Aluminum also beat Shams Azar 2-0 in Arak and Zob Ahan was held to a goalless draw against Havadar in Isfahan.
Persepolis returned to second place with 10 points, two points behind leader Sepahan.
