Iran Downs Afghanistan at Men’s Hockey5s Asia Cup 2023
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Iran defeated Afghanistan 12-2 at the Men’s Hockey5s Asia Cup 2023 underway in Oman's Salalah on Thursday.
Zabihollah Rahchamani were on target four times and Mohammad Ali Salehipour, Navid Taheri Rad, Mehdi Shahrokhi and Mohammad Reza Saadat scored two goals each for Iran.
Iran has previously defeated Hong Kong 7-2, Indonesia 5-2 and Kazakhstan 12-8 in the Challenger Pool underway in Salalah, Oman.
Team Melli will play Japan on Friday.
