Iran’s Nematzadeh Takes Bronze at 2023 WT Taekwondo Grand Prix
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Mobina Nematzadeh of Iran claimed a bronze medal on the first day of the World Taekwondo Grand Prix in Paris.
She won the bronze in women’s under-49 kilogram category.
Nematzadeh had defeated athletes from Kazakhstan, Egypt and Croatia but lost to Tokyo 2020 silver medalist Adriana Cerezo Iglesias of Spain in the semifinals.
A total of 255 participants from 59 countries compete at the event in Paris.
