Hossein Vafaei into Shanghai Masters Round 2

TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Iran’s Hossein Vafaei defeated China’s Gong Chenzhi in the Shanghai Masters Round 1 on Monday.

The Iranian snooker player will meet Mark Selby in Round 2.

The 2023 Shanghai Masters runs from September 11-17.

The tournament is the best-of-11 frames up to and including the quarter-finals. The semi-finals are best-of-19 frames and the final will be best-of-21.
