Iran’s Table Tennis Doubles Takes Bronze at Hangzhou
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Iran’s Nima and Noshad Alamiyan won a bronze medal in the men's doubles table tennis in the 2022 Asian Games underway in Hangzhou, China on Sunday.
The Iranian pair lost to Fan Zhendong and Wang Chuqin of China 4-0 (11-4, 11-3, 11-3, 11-6).
China will meet South Korea in the final.
A record high of nearly 12,500 athletes from 45 countries and territories compete across 40 sports in the 2022 Asian Games.
Iran has sent 289 male and female athletes to the Games in 34 sports events.
