Iran’s Men’s Canoe Double Claims Bronze at Hangzhou
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Iran snatched a bronze medal in the Men's Canoe Double 500m of the 2022 Asian Games on Monday.
The Iranian pair, Adel Mojallali and Kia Eskandani, crossed the line in one minute and 50.486 seconds.
Kazakhstan won the gold with 1:49.010 and the silver medal went to the Japanese pair with 1:49.237.
A record high of nearly 12,500 athletes from 45 countries and territories compete across 40 sports in the 2022 Asian Games.
Iran has sent 289 male and female athletes to the Games in 34 sports events.
