The two diplomats engaged in a late Thursday discussion in which they exchanged views on a range of topics, including bilateral relations, regional developments, and the humanitarian crisis unfolding in Gaza as a result of the ongoing actions of the Zionist regime.

Amirabdollahian emphasized the immediate need to halt the heinous crimes committed by the Zionist regime against the defenseless population of Palestine residing in the Gaza Strip.

He stressed the importance of delivering humanitarian aid to the region to alleviate the suffering of the Palestinian people.

The Iranian Foreign Minister also drew attention to the war crimes committed by the Zionist regime, particularly its recent attack on a hospital in central Gaza.

Amirabdollahian underscored the urgency of increasing diplomatic consultations among Islamic nations to put a stop to such atrocities against civilians and to ensure the swift delivery of humanitarian assistance to the vulnerable residents of Gaza.

Ahmed Attaf, the Algerian Foreign Minister, shared his perspective on the recent developments in Palestine during the conversation. He characterized the current situation as a consequence of the failure of political plans that were intended to help the Palestinian people achieve their legitimate and national rights, including the establishment of an independent state.

Attaf called for an immediate end to the violence targeting innocent Palestinian citizens and emphasized the urgency of delivering humanitarian aid to the Gaza Strip.

The conversation between the officials underscored their mutual commitment to addressing the humanitarian situation and putting an end to the violence against innocent civilians highlights the importance of international cooperation in seeking a resolution to this longstanding conflict.
