Sepahan and AGMK Just Looking for Win: ACL Matchday 4
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Sepahan and AGMK football teams are set for an exciting AFC Champions League 2023-24 Group C clash at the Azadi Stadium on Monday.
Both sides need to win - albeit for different reasons - with Iran's Sepahan on four points while AGMK is on a run of three consecutive defeats.
Sepahan was in fine form when the two sides met a fortnight ago, with the Iranian side cruising to a 3-1 win.
It, however, needs a win on Monday as it trails Al Ittihad SC of Saudi Arabia by five points.
AGMK has found the going tough in Group D, with the Uzbekistan side not able to turn its determination into victories.
Defeats to Al Ittihad (3-0), Air Force Club (2-1) and Sepahan mean its knockout stage hopes are as good as dashed but AGMK will be fired up to make a mark and this could spell trouble for Sepahan.
