Sepahan needed just four minutes to open the scoring, with Farshad Ahmadzadeh finding the back of the net assisted by Ramin Rezaeian.

Sepahan defender Mohammad Hosseinnezhad received a direct red card after a challenge on Mustafa Saadoun in the 43rd minute.
