The match is scheduled for December 5 in Tehran’s Azadi Stadium.
Persepolis was held to a goalless draw by Al Nassr Monday night. The point was enough for the Saudi Arabian team to confirm the top spot and a place in the Round of 16 while Persepolis' hopes now depend on defeating Al Duhail SC to advance as one of the three best runner-ups from the West Zone.
“We were able to create opportunities but we had problems with the last pass and the formation of attacks,” Golmohammadi said.
“We played against a really professional and strong team. Any team playing against Al Nassr will face problems even if they have 10 players,” he added.
The Iran side will host Al Duhail knowing that a win may not be enough to advance but Golmohammadi said the only thing they have to focus on is getting the three points.
“A draw at Al Nassr's stadium is valuable. We have to prepare ourselves for Al Duhail. We have only one way to climb and that is to win the match,” the Persepolis coach added.
