Persepolis Coach Golmohammadi Announces Resignation

TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Persepolis football team head coach Yahya Golmohammadi announced his intention to resign.

On Monday, Persepolis was held to a 1-1 draw by Mes Rafsanjan and Golmohammadi bade farewell to the club in the post-match news conference.

He has stepped down from his role after the Iranian top-flight club failed to solve the financial problems.

Persepolis sits third in the Iran Professional League (IPL), two points behind leader Esteghlal.
