Alireza Jafari said on Monday that the comprehensive investment package for the development of the Makran coast will be compiled by the end of the current Iranian calendar year (March 20, 2024).

He further noted that 10 domestic companies and a number of foreign firms have voiced their readiness to invest in the projects for developing the region.

Jafari expounded on the process of negotiations and the attraction of investors for the establishment of towns in Makran coastal areas, the generalities of which were approved at Iran’s Supreme Council for Planning and Architecture, IRNA reported.

Elsewhere in his remarks, the deputy roads minister said the approach in the compilation of the investment package is a win-win approach.

Effective measures have been taken to encourage the private sector to invest in these regions, he added.
