Persepolis Beats Paykan in Friendly
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Persepolis football team edged past Paykan 1-0 in a friendly match on Wednesday.
In the match, held in Tehran’s Shahid Kazemi Stadium, Shahab Zahedi scored the winner in the 27th minute.
Persepolis’ new signings Abdolkarim Hassan and Issa Alekasir were not fielded in the match.
Persepolis will travel to Dubai on Thursday to hold its training camp.
The Iranian club parted company with Yahya Golmohammadi in early January and has not yet confirmed its new head coach.
