Iranian Foreign Minister in Qatar for Talks on Gaza Peace

TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Foreign Minister of Iran Hossein Amirabdollahian has traveled to Qatar on the third leg of a regional tour that is focused on ways to settle the crisis in Gaza.

The top Iranian diplomat arrived in Doha on Monday.

His regional tour had earlier taken him to Lebanon and Syria.

Amirabdollahian is going to hold meetings with senior Qatari officials about a range of issues, including the cooperation between Tehran and Doha.

Like the talks in Beirut and Damascus, the main topic of the Iranian foreign minister’s meetings with Qatari authorities will be the developments in Palestine and ways to end the brutal Israeli onslaught against Gaza.

The Israeli regime’s bombardment of Gaza has killed at least 28,340 Palestinians and wounded 67,984 others since October 7.
