Persepolis Beaten by Aluminum: IPL
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Aluminum football team edged past Persepolis 1-0 in 2023-24 Iran Professional League (IPL) on Thursday.
Amir Nouri scored a long-range strike in the 75th minute in Arak’s IRALCO Stadium.
In the other matches on Thursday, Malavan beat Zob Ahan 1-0 in Isfahan, Paykan drew 1-1 with Nassaji in Tehran, Shams Azar and Esteghlal Khuzestan played out a goalless draw in Qazvin, and Mes was held to a 0-0 draw by Havadar in Rafsanjan.
On Friday, IPL leader Esteghlal will face Sanat Naft in Tehran’s Azadi Stadium.
