Cyril Ong Named Iran Volleyball Assistant Coach
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Cyril Ong was named Iran’s men’s national volleyball team assistant coach.
The coach from France has recently worked at Ukraine’s Epicentr-Podolyany.
On Wednesday, the volleyball federation of Iran appointed Mauricio Paes as the new head coach of Team Melli.
The 61-year-old Brazilian coach has most recently worked at Epicentr-Podolyany.
Paes has been appointed as Iran's head coach until the end of the 2024 Olympic Games, with the option to extend for two more years.
