A senior member of the Daesh terror group by the name of ‘Mohammad Zaker’ or “Ramesh" was captured along with two accomplices by the Alborz Province Law Enforcement Command's Intelligence Organization, aided by citizens reporting suspicious activities to the 110 police hotline.
The operation resulted in a shootout, leading to the arrest of three individuals.
The arrestees were planning suicide operations in Iran during Eid al-Fitr.
Additionally, eight associates linked to the terrorist group have been apprehended.
