Iranian, Tanzanian FMs Hold Phone Talks to Boost Bilateral Ties

TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Top diplomats from Iran and Tanzania called for the expansion of relations and interactions between the two countries in all fields especially in the fields of trade and economy.

Iran's Foreign Minister Hossein Amirabdollahian held a telephone conversation with his Tanzanian counterpart Yusuf Makamba on Tuesday to discuss bilateral ties and issues of the mutual interest.

Amirabdollahian emphasized the expansion of relations and interactions between the two countries in all fields and also holding of the Joint Commission for Economic Cooperation meeting.

Iran's top diplomat invited his Tanzanian counterpart to visit Tehran for finalizing the agreements between the two countries.

He also underlined the preparation for the necessary planning for the meeting of the two countries' presidents.

Referring to the anti-human crimes of the Israeli regime in Palestine, Amirabdollahian emphasized the continuation of Iran's efforts to stop the genocide in Gaza.

Tanzania's foreign minister, for his part, condemned Israeli regime's attack on Iran's embassy in Damascus, and expressed sympathy with the government and people of Iran on behalf of the government and the people of Tanzania.
