US Warned against Participation in Any Attack on Iran’s Interests

TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Following drone and missile strikes that hit targets in occupied territories, the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) warned the US against any support for or participation in attacks on Iran’s interests.

In a statement early on Sunday, the IRGC said the Iranian strikes had successfully detonated major military targets in occupied territories.

It warned the US and the Zionist regime that any threat against Iran’s interest originating from any country will receive a reciprocal and proportional response.

“The United States is accountable for the Zionist regime’s wicked acts and if it fails to curb this child-killing regime in the region, it must accept the consequences,” the statement underlined.

While highlighting Iran’s policy of good neighborliness toward regional countries and neighbors, the IRGC reiterated that any threat from the United States’ terrorist government and the Zionist regime originating from any country would receive the Islamic Republic of Iran’s reciprocal and proportional response to the origin of the threat.

It also assured the Iranian nation that the IRGC and other armed forces of the Islamic Republic will remain steadfast in defending the national interests and will thwart the enemies’ attempts at undermining the people’s security and peace.

Late on Saturday, the IRGC said it had launched massive retaliatory missile and drone strikes against the occupied territories in response to the Israeli regime’s terrorist attack of April 1 against the Islamic Republic’s diplomatic premises in the Syrian capital Damascus.

The IRGC Public Relations Office said in a statement in the early hours of Sunday that the missiles had successfully hit targets inside occupied territories.
