Danial Esmaeilnejad opened the scoring for the visiting team in the 8th minute. Issa Alekasir made it 2-0 in the 66th minute and Mohammad Hossein Kananizadegan scored the third goal from the penalty spot in the 71st minute.
Persepolis provisionally moved up top, two points more than Esteghlal.
Elsewhere, Paykan drew 2-2 with Havadar in Tehran and Gol Gohar was held to a 2-2 draw against struggling Esteghlal Khuzestan.
Esteghlal will host Shams Azar in Tehran, Nassaji will face Tractor in Qaemshahr, and Foolad is going to meet Mes in Ahvaz on Friday.
