25 Foreign Trade Delegations Attend Iran Expo 2024

TEHRAN (Tasnim) – The participation of 25 foreign trade-economic delegations in the 6th Export Potential Exhibition of the Islamic Republic of Iran, dubbed “Iran EXPO 2024”, indicates Iran’s capability to continue on the path of development and growth in spite of sanctions, an official said.

Speaking during a tour of the exhibition, Vice Chairman of Iran Chamber of Commerce, Industries, Mines and Agriculture (ICCIMA) Hossein Pir-Moazzen emphasized that participation of 25 foreign trade and economic delegations in the exhibition indicates that Iran has managed to promote its export and production level despite the restrictions caused by the sanctions imposed against the country.

He also stated that strengthening the export of non-oil goods is the priority of the Iran Chamber of Commerce.

He said helping the country yield foreign currency is one of the main programs of the chamber.

The private sector of the country and the ICCIMA, in particular, try to set the ground for spurring more production and export in the year named “Production Jump with People’s Participation”,  Pir-Moazzen  added.

He called on the government to throw its weight behind the private sector of the country to materialize the export objectives.
