TEHRAN (Tasnim) – The spokesman for the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) said the Zionist regime received help from ten countries during Iran’s Operation True Promise earlier this month.

Speaking at a ceremony in Tehran on Monday, General Ramezan Sharif said that with the successful retaliatory operation against the Zionist regime, Iran achieved victory over the defense systems of those countries.

He said the operation was carried out using homegrown weapons, proving the country’s progress in this field.

It enhanced the Iranian nation’s grandeur and superiority and made all freedom-seeking people in the world happy, he went on to say.

In the early hours of April 14, the IRGC Aerospace Force launched a wave of cruise and ballistic missiles and drones against military targets in the occupied territories in retaliation for the Israeli regime’s April 1 airstrike that killed seven Iranian military commanders and advisers in Syria.

In a meeting with top military commanders later, Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei admired the Iranian Armed Forces for manifesting the country’s power and determination in the international arena by conducting the operation against the Israeli regime.
