It seems that Iran and Qatar could carry out joint investment projects in the African countries, Iraq and Afghanistan, Abbas Aliabadi said on the sidelines of the 6th Export Potential Exhibition of Iran, entitled “IRAN EXPO 2024”, held in Tehran.

Stressing the need to broaden economic and trade relations between Iran and Qatar, the minister said the two countries enjoy high potential for cooperation in various fields.

Aliabadi said the participation of Qatari companies in Iran Expo 2024 provides an opportunity to advertise the export potential of Iran.

Qatar has made huge investment in recent years in the airport transportation and air fleet sector, the Iranian minister said, adding that Tehran is keen to cooperate with the Qatari companies in various industrial and agricultural fields, IRNA reported.

Known as the most prestigious export event in Iran, “Iran Expo 2024” opened in Tehran on April 27 and will run through May 1.
