The incident happened in the Zhob district of the province where the clash was triggered in response to an intelligence-based operation conducted by the security forces, the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the media wing of the Pakistani army said in the statement, Xinhua reported.

Weapons, ammunition, and explosives were recovered from the killed terrorists, the statement added.

A clearance operation is being conducted to eliminate any other terrorists present in the area, the statement said.
