2024 CAFA U-15 Women's Championship: Iran Edges Uzbekistan
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Iran defeated Uzbekistan 1-0 in the 2024 CAFA U-15 Women's Championship on Thursday.
Tania Ghorbani scored the winner in this match held at the Dushanbe International Stadium.
Iran, who defeated Kyrgyzstan 5-1 in its opening match, will play Tajikistan on Saturday.
The 2024 CAFA U-15 Girls Championship is the fourth edition of the event, the biennial international women's football youth championship of Central Asia organized by the Central Asian Football Association (CAFA) for the women's under-15 national teams of Central Asia.
The tournament takes place in Dushanbe, Tajikistan, from May 21 to 25.
The CAFA Youth Championship, is an international association football competition contested by the youth (U-14 to U-17) national teams of the members of CAFA, the governing body of football in Central Asia.
