Iran Beats Hong Kong at 2024 AVC Challenge Cup for Women
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Iran defeated Hong Kong 3-1 (26-24, 26-24, 19-25, 25-19) in the 2024 AVC Challenge Cup for Women on Tuesday.
Team Melli Banovan will meet India on Wednesday for the 5th place.
Iran has lost to India, the Philippines and Australia and defeated Chinese Taipei and Hong Kong so far.
The third edition of the competition is being held in Manila’s historic Rizal Memorial Coliseum on May 22-29.
The finals are slated for May 29, when the eventual champion earns the right to return to Manila, as it confirms its slot for the Volleyball World Challenger Cup, scheduled for July 4-7, 2024.
