Instances of clashes with residents trying to resist the brutal actions were also reported.
In the northern occupied West Bank, the Israeli army carried out two extensive raids on the Al Fara refugee camp in Tubas. According to a Palestinian source, the army initially entered the camp after midnight, departing but returning within two hours in the morning.
"Assem Mansour, head of the Popular Committee in Al Fara, conveyed, "The Israeli army initiated a major operation at midnight, conducting home raids and causing property damage within the camp."
He further stated that the forces targeted essential infrastructure, including sewage, electricity, and water networks, leaving the camp without power since the early hours of Monday.
"After a five-hour intrusion, the forces withdrew momentarily, only for residents to find special units stationed at a center for the disabled in the camp. This led to renewed clashes and a subsequent re-entry of the forces," Mansour explained.
He depicted the situation as resembling warfare, with explosions, armed confrontations, and the army forcibly entering homes.
Mansour highlighted that since October 7, 2023, the Israeli army has claimed the lives of 17 Palestinians, injured several others, and detained numerous individuals during four large-scale raids.
Earlier on Monday, the Palestinian Ministry of Health confirmed the death of 15-year-old Mahmoud Ibrahim Nabreesi due to Israeli gunfire in Al Fara camp, with five others sustaining injuries.
Al Fara camp, inhabited by approximately 8,000 Palestinians, stands as one of the smallest communities in the West Bank.
Tensions have been escalating across the occupied West Bank following Israel's deadly military offensive against the Gaza Strip, which has resulted in over 37,000 casualties since October 7, 2023.
According to the Health Ministry, at least 532 Palestinians have been killed, and nearly 5,000 others injured by Israeli army actions in the occupied territory.
Israel faces accusations of genocide at the International Court of Justice, with the latest ruling ordering Tel Aviv to immediately cease its operation in Rafah, a city where over a million Palestinians had sought refuge before it was invaded on May 6.
