Golmohammadi stepped down as head coach of Persepolis in January and took charge of the Ahvaz-based football team on a two-year deal.

He replaced Abdollah Veisi in Foolad.

Golmohammadi is among the successful coaches in Iranian football, leading Persepolis to three titles in the Iran Professional League.

The 53-year-old coach has previously worked in Saba, Nassaji, Naft, Tractor and Zob Ahan.
