Juan Carlos Garrido Appointed Persepolis’ Head Coach

TEHRAN (Tasnim) - Spanish football manager Juan Carlos Garrido Fernandez was appointed as the new head coach of Persepolis football club on Tuesday.

Sports

Garrido, 55, has replaced Brazilian coach Osmar Loss.

Osmar helped Persepolis win 2023-24 Iran Professional League (IPL) after taking helm in January.

Garrido has served as head coach in Real Betis, Club Brugge, UAE’s Al Ain, Egyptian club Ismaily Sporting Club, Morocco’s Wydad, and USM Alger of Algeria.
