Israeli Forces Kill Four Palestinians in West Bank Drone Strike

TEHRAN (Tasnim) – An Israeli drone strike killed four Palestinians in the Nur Shams refugee camp in the West Bank, as tensions and Israeli violence continue to escalate in the region.

Israeli forces assassinated four Palestinians late Tuesday night, when an armed drone fired a missile in the center of the Nur Shams refugee camp, east of Tulkarem in the northwestern part of the West Bank.

According to medical sources at the Martyr Thabet Thabet Governmental Hospital in Tulkarem, four Palestinian young men were killed by an Israeli drone strike in the center of the Nur Shams camp.

The Palestinian Health Ministry confirmed the identities of the slain young men as Yazid Sa’ed Adel Shafe’, 22, Nimir Anwar Ahmad Hamarsha, 25, Mohammad Yasser Raja Shehada, 20, and Mohammad Hasan Ghannam Kanouh, 22.

Reports indicated that two more people have been killed in the area in the past 24 hours, including a woman and a child.

Local authorities have announced a strike in the Tulkarem governorate in the occupied West Bank to mourn the Palestinians killed in the Israeli raid.

Israel alleges the four who were killed were associated with the Tulkarem Brigades, a faction of the Palestinian Islamic Jihad, and that they were preparing improvised explosive devices. This claim could not be independently verified.

Israeli Raids, which have tripled since the start of the war, also result in home demolitions. Four homes in the eastern part of the occupied West Bank have been demolished.

These raids have a severe impact on daily life – residents can’t plan anything with certainty. Even without air strikes, the threat of sudden raids is constant.

The disruption extends to education; high school students face uncertainty about whether they can safely reach exam halls.

Israeli raids and mass arrests have become a near-daily occurrence across the Palestinian territories since the start of the war in Gaza.

Prisoner watchdog groups report that the Israeli army has arrested more than 9,500 Palestinians since October 7, including 20 in the last two days. According to the UN, at least 513 people have been killed since the Israeli brutal war began in Gaza Strip.
