Shahab Zahedi gave a lead to the visiting team from penalty spot in the 14th minute. Musashi Suzuki levelled the score from the spot in the 65th minute.

Masashi Kamekawa was on target for Avispa but Katsuyuki Tanaka equalized the match just before the final whistle.

Consadole Sapporo remained bottom of the table and Avispa also maintained its eighth place in the standing.
